Ever since 1908 when the St.Paul’s Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.455 ceased to exist Cyprus remained without a Mark Master Masons Lodge until the 8th of October, 2003 when the KYPROS Lodge was Consecrated<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1992, on Thursday the 16th of January, one of the Cypriot Masons, E. J. Georgiou, was advanced to the degree of Mark Master Mason in the Monument Lodge No.1295, Wellington, Somerset, and promised that he would try to bring Mark Master Masonry back to Cyprus. After some turbulent time for Masonry in Cyprus the then newly appointed District Grand <\/span>Master R. W. Bro S. F. N. Waley, P.Prov.G.M. (Kent), having been the protagonist, in clearing the clouds from the Cyprus Masonic sky, passed the Grand Lodge green light to Bro Georgiou, and some other Mark brethren very much in favour of having a Mark Lodge on the island.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following a visit to the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons towards the end of 2001 a new Lodge was to be formed. <\/span>Petitioners were found and with the valuable assistance of the Grand Lodge, the Big Day of Consecration, the 8th of October, 2003 was a reality.<\/span><\/p>\n
